These 4-pole contactors satisfy both below requirements as defined for the interface device (DDI – dispositivo di interfaccia) by CEI 0-16 V5 and CEI 0-21 V3 standards:  when N.O. main poles are open, the minimum air insulation distances between the contacts (upstream/downstream) are the following:

o 230 / 400 V AC: 4 mm o 400 / 690 V AC: 8 mm

Note: 1000 V AC: 12 mm, not applying for above listed contactors. T he contactors are not dedicated devices suitable for isolation.  the use of mirror contact is recommended (not mandatory):

AF09(Z) … AF80-40-00-.. 4-pole contactors can be equipped with additional auxiliary contact blocks (1-pole CA4-01, 4-pole CA4..E, 2-pole CAT4-11E, 2-pole CAL4-11), including N.C. auxiliary contacts defined as mirror contacts according to annex F of IEC 60947-4-1.
